| We have been very pleased with both of the classes my children have taken at AquaKids. Their teachers have been very patient and kind in their instruction and are also very knowledgeable. The facility is clean and the office staff is organized and helpful. All the teachers and staff are really helpful in making the kid feel more comfortable while they are there. The pace and progression of the programs are really great. The teacher to kid ratio is really good. The facility is really clean. I would definitely recommend AquaKids as a great place for your little ones to learn swimming. Posted by aja0031 on 2/4/2010 We love swim lessons at AquaKids. My daughter is very shy and was extremely apprehensive about the water. She is now in her 3rd class and loves to swim. The teachers really make the kids feel comfortable and they get plenty of 1 on 1 instruction, which I think made all the difference for my little girl. I also love that they have small classes of no more than 4 kids per teacher, and they have a really family friendly facility so I can feel comfortable bringing my smaller children while watching the lesson. Overall, I would recommend AquaKids to anyone. Posted by ryancarrieanderson on 1/20/2010 We live approx. 30 minutes away, and make the drive each week. We are impressed with the quantity of classes offered at a variety of time slots. Make up classes are always easy to schedule. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. We must admit that we were a little bit skeptical about laying down the fees, but it is well worth the money to know that our child is learning how to swim and learning water safety. So far we have passed waterbabies 1 and are looking forward to waterbabies 2!! Posted by summerchavez on 1/3/2010 I have to say I was skeptical at first about the cost of the swimming lessons. I wasn't sure if AquaKids were any different then any other swimming lessons program. AquaKids not only changed my mind but I am a believer now as to their program. My son, for the last 3 summers, has screamed and cried and hated swimming. It was traumatic for him until we came to AquaKids. He now is very comfortable in the water and is swimming across the pool on his own, something I thought would never happen. It has been awesome to see my son grow in his confidence in the water, the teachers and program should take credit for that. The teachers are wonderful and have made learning how to swim fun. My daughter is always showing off her new skills and is very proud of what she has accomplished. The small class sizes have allowed him a fair amount of swim time each lesson and there has always been availability to squeeze him into other classes to make up any sessions he missed.The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful whenever we have any questions. All 3 made fast improvements in their swimming ability. Honestly, we wish we had started this earlier. Extremely pleased with the pre-swim team program. They teach the spirit of competition without making it too serious. This is great preparation should our daughter continue with swimming and participate in meets in the future. I watched my youngest swim yesterday and was amazed at the progress she has made since the last time I was able to attend. The folks at AquaKids are great and our girls love all the teachers they have had. Thank you!! Posted by rhaddock on 12/18/2009 We joined AquaKids so our 3 year old daughter would be safe at our community pool or on vacation, but we had no idea she would love swimming as much as she does. She loves all the teachers she has had and is always so excited to get in the pool, often to the point that she doesn't want to get out at the end of class. We appreciate the efforts of the staff to make this a wonderful experience in our daughter's life. In just a few weeks our little fish is swimming several feet, underwater, on her own and we am so proud of her accomplishments. The staff is nice and helpful, the facility is family friendly and clean, the pool is heated, and the classes are small so the students get lots of individual attention. After a frightening pool incident at the end of the summer, we knew we had to get our daughter into swim lessons. AquaKids went above and beyond in helping us get the right class at the right time. Everyone is so friendly, my daughter feels very comfortable there. Even though she is not always the most cooperative student, her teacher, Brad, is always patient and compassionate but he also makes sure that she learns what she needs to learn. When she started this class she was fearful and convinced she couldn't swim. Within just a few lessons she was swimming like a fish! We put our son in lessons to help with increasing his lung capacity for the upcoming winter. He has gotten so much more out of it than just that. Thank you Ms. Kathryn!! The instructors have workd with my child closely to make sure she reaches her individual potential. I would highly recommend AquaKids to any parent who wants their child to become comfortable in the water while learning to swim. The school focuses on swimming basics and not on dunking kids to see how long they will stay under water. My son enjoys swimming and can now swim half the pool length. We've been impressed with all our son can do after such a little amount of time. He has fun and enjoys his teacher. At home he even sings the tick-tock and motor boat song they sing in lessons! She has progressed so much that, at 3 years old, she swims independently under water and can get herself into and out of the water. She loves all of the teachers there, and their curriculum is very age appropriate. They always greet my daughter at the door by name and make her feel very welcome and comfortable.
