Howdy partner! I’ve been working at AquaKids^® since January of 2004. I am a Senior at Texas Christian University studying Entrepreneurial Management and love it. I’ve lived in Texas for my whole life and there is no place I’d rather live. Something you might not know about me? Well, that’s easy, I drive a Transformer – Bumblebee’s cousin, Humblebee. My favorite meal is for sure a Chipotle burrito; Freebirds is not even close to as good as Chipotle so don’t even try to get me started on that argument. Slurpees, peppermint ice cream, and Muddy Buddies Chex Mix rock it up all day. See you at the pool!
 
 

I’m a student at Central High School.  I am a true fairy princess, with two princess sisters.  I love coffee, and coffee, and more coffee.  I eat a ton of chocolate, sun-flower seeds, and ice cream!  I have a pet duck named Steve, and he talks to me about how wonderful AquaKids^® swimmers are.  I love working with the kids here and I am thankful for your trust with them!  I am American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certified.
 
 

I have been working at AK since August of 2011 and I LOVE swimming and teaching.  I have been coaching swim lessons for about 8 years for both teams and city lessons.  I’m a music education major at TWU and I love to sing.  My favorite food is french fries and cookies and I only eat them on Friday (unless I cheat, which happens a lot).  See ya in the water!
 
 

Hi!  My name is Celina!  I first started working at AquaKids^® in March 2011.  I currently go to Central High School and I swim.  My favorite color is red and I absolutely love to swim, it’s the best!  My favorite show is spongebob.  We’re BFFs you know.
 
 
 

I’m back!  I started working at AquaKids^® in Flower Mound back in ’03.  I took a break for 2 years but I’m glad to be back!  I am currently working towards my masters in education at TWU and want to teach elementary school students.  I enjoy outdoors and love FOOTBALL!  I have a lovely wife, Shannon, she is a mermaid cousin of Ariel!  I hope to see you in my class soon!!
 
 

I have been working at AquaKids^® since Spring 2010.  In addition to teaching at AK, I am also a custom cake designer and a homeschooling mom.  My daughter is twelve which means I am fluent in tween talk, Disney Pop Stars, and eye rolling.  After a long day of working, I turn into my true self, “Sid the Sloath” from Ice Age.  “I’m putting sloaths on the map.”

I’ve worked with the team at AK since summer ’07.  I graduated in May ’10 from Texas Lutheran University with a degree in exercise science.  I LOVE to play basketball!  I’ve got the greatest hidden super power – I have SUPER-UPS!  I can jump as high as the sky and slam dunk any basketball.  See ya in the pool!
 
 
 

I am a super fast swimmer just like a dolphin! I go to school at Timber Creek High School and love working with kids. I hope to get to meet you in the pool and we can have fun learning together.
 
 
 
 

Hi!  Once upon a time, I used to be a mermaid.  In fact, if you look very closely at me underwater, you can sometimes still see my beautiful blue, pink, and green polka-dotted fin!  I have 3 incredible starfish children and they love to swim too!  Things that make me smile are:  the sound of the ocean, a good book, going to the movies, Starbucks chai tea latte, anything and everything chocolate (Yum!), Star Wars, Phineas and Ferb, and ALL my swimmers!!
 
 

Hello!  My name is Kendra and I am 21 years old.  I go to school at Texas Woman’s University.  My favorite things to do are going boating, reading, swimming, and walking my dogs.  My favorite color is orange and my favorite anumal is a zebra!  I love to travel and I have been all around the world.  One of my favorite places is Italy.  I love nail polish and have 30+ colors.
 
 

Hi, I’m Madi!  I’ve worked at AK since Fall ’10.  When I’m not working, I spend my weekends in my mermaid form at one beach or another or with my puppy, Butler.  Things I do for fun are read, shop in Southlake, and take long naps!  Once I’m finished with school, I’ll be an elementary school teacher BUT until then, I love teaching all my AK swimmers how to be little fishies.  See you in the pool!
 
 

I am a student at Central High School! I started working at AquaKids^® in October 2011. I have lived in a small town most of my life and moved here about two years ago. I grew up swimming and riding horses. See you at the pool!
 
 

Hey!  I am Mariah, you can call me princess or coach Mariah.  I have been at AK since Fall 2010.  I love kids and swimming very much.  I am also very good at sign language.  I can’t wait to see my new little swimmers.  And remember, we are going to have so much fun if you are in my class.
 
 

I’m known as Marnie V.  I was first a teacher here at AquaKids^® and now I work in the office.  When I’m not here, you can find me in my home office/studio running my own business and shipping modern art for kids across the world.  I’m an illustration artist by trade, but I have a strong passion for kids to learn the life lesson of swimming.  I’m married to a wonderful man named David and enjoy my 3 sports loving boys.  The end.

I go to Central High School and I am involved in student council and senior class office along with many other activities. In my free time, I love being with my family and friends. My favorite color is blue and Shhhh, don’t tell anyone but Prince Charming is my brother!
 
 
 

I have worked here since April 2009.  I go to UNT and I am a music education major.  I love chocolate, dancing, starbucks, tanning, singing, and hippos.  My favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffanys.  My favorite color is purple.  After class, I plan on traveling the world with the wonderful Miss Corie.  I love kids and plan on having at least 15.
 
 

Hi!  My name is Samantha.  I’ve been working at AquaKids^® since 2006.  My favorite color is green and in my spare time, I love watching movies!  I love all kinds of sports and my favorite is golf.  I played for 8 years and even played for UNT!
 
 
 

I started working at AquaKids^® in Flower Mound back in ’01.  I took a short break and came back to AquaKids^® in Keller in 2008 as an instructor and Deck Manager.  In August of 2011, I was promoted to Facility Manager of the Keller location.  I am CPO certified and am also an American Red Cross Lifeguard instructor.  I graduated from TWU in May of 2011 with a degree in General Studies with a focus on Business Administration and Sociology.  In my free time, I love swimming around the ocean with my cousin, Ariel!
