Our Staff – Flower Mound

I go to the University of North Texas and will graduate in December of 2012. I have been teaching swim lessons for 7 years. I love being outside and playing in the sun. My favorite color is green and my favorite animals are all sea creatures! My favorite drink is chocolate milk and favorite food is a hot dog. Many have called me a rockstar in my days! Listen!
 
 

I am 18 and a senior at Marcus High School.  I am very energetic and loving. My passion is teaching children. I plan to attend college in the fall and am looking forward to new experiences. My favorite color is black!
 
 

I have worked at AquaKids^® for 2 years. I attend the University of North Texas. I graduate in Spring of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology pre-med. I plan on going to medical school for a doctorate degree. I love my job and I love kids.
 
 

I am 16 years old and attend Guyer High School. I have been working in the office since the Summer of 2011. My favorite color is turquoise! I love kids and my plan when I graduate high school is to become a pediatrician. Texas Roadhouse and Mexican food are my favorites!
 
 

I have worked at AquaKids^® since 1999, and taught lessons at several places before that. I have been married for 35 years and have 2 grown daughters that live nearby. I love going to movies and reading!!
 
 

I am studying nursing at TWU in Denton. I was a competitive swimmer for ten years. I grew up in Dallas, Texas. I love kids and I love the water!
 
 
 

I am 19 years and currently attending the University of North Texas. I’m a sophomore and my major is Electrical Engineering. I have been a lifeguard for 2 years and was Captain of the Marcus High School Swim Team.
 
 

I am originally from England. I moved to Texas when I was 3 years old. I have been on swim team since I was 4 years old. I was on LAC for 8 years and I am now on the Marcus High School Swim Team. I love kids and working here has been the best. I learned to swim here too!
 
 

I’ve been married 28 years and am a mother of 2 boys and a Golden Retriever named Garth. I am an artist that loves the outdoors. I am a girl scout of ten years and a boy scout of three years. I have a BFA in Interior Design. I have lots of superhero experience and my favorite color is teal.
 
 

I am 19 years old and a student at UNT. I am majoring in Biology and plan to go into Pre-med. I am also a 2nd Degree Black Belt and Certified Martial Arts Instructor. I love teaching and improving on talent!
 
 

I am originally from Virginia and moved to Texas when I was 8. I am a Senior Education Major studying at Texas Tech. I will graduate in December with a major in Multidisciplinary Studies. I have been employed by AquaKids^® since January of 2009. I enjoy watching tv, reading and running. My favorite food is spaghetti.
 
 

I am 22 years old and a senior at Texas Woman’s University where I’m majoring in Social Work and History. My hometown is Coppell, TX where I was in Band and played Clarinet! I graduated high school in 2007. Go Cowboys! My favorite color is blue and I am a HUGE animal lover. I have rescue 3 dogs and love them. I also love animated movies like Finding Nemo, UP, and Wall-E!
 
 

I am 16 years old and go to Lewisville High School. I swim Breaststroke and Fly, I also play water polo and am a welterweight boxer. When I grow up, I would like to work in advertising. Finally, I love working here!
 
 

I am a Recreation and Leisure studies major with a minor in business at the University of North Texas. I have been working at AquaKids^® a little over a year now and enjoy it so much! My all time favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda and my favorite thing to eat is seven layer dip. I am a very artistic person and I’m in love with animals. My biggest goal in life is to have a huge family and be successful in my career.
 
 

I am 16 years old and a Junior at Flower Mound High School. I used to be a Lady Jaguar basketball player. Now I run for the track team in the open 400m and in the first leg of the 4x400m relay team! I have twin brothers that swim at AquaKids^®! When I was younger, I was on the AquaKids^® Swim Team!
 
 

I am a student at the University of North Texas and my major is engineering. I went to Lewisville High School and I have lived in the DFW Metroplex all of my life. I love playing with kids and teaching them how to swim. I have a dog named lucky and a cat named Luna. My favorite food is steak and my favorite drink is lemonade. My dream is to work at NASA one day as a nuclear engineer and build space stations.
 
 

I am 15 years old and a freshman at Marcus High School. I am a member of the Marcus Swim Team and I have been swimming for six years. My favorite color is blue and I love dolphins.
 
 

I am a Senior Education Major at UNT. I have two younger sisters, a dog, and a cat. I love bright colors, sports, being outside, and swimming! I play ultimate Frisbee for the UNT Women’s Team, and my favorite movie is the Little Mermaid. I started at AK in May of 2011. In the past, I have taught sports and outdoor activities at summer camps. My favorite color is green!
 
 

I began working at AquaKids^® in November of 2009. I love to swim, I was swim team captain for Lewisville High School. I have too much energy and love to be active all the time. I am going to school to become a certified nurse. My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is pizza.
 
 

I am 16 years old and I have been on my high school swim team for three years. I love to play water polo and I also am on my high school orchestra and play the violin. I have one 13 year old sister!
 
 
 

Hi! I am originally from North Texas but love to travel and meet new people. I still love playgrounds and coloring books. I am studying Child Development at Texas Woman’s University. I have had the pleasure of working with children of all ages for 5 years now. I have been at AquaKids^® since May 2010 and love getting to know the families that walk in and out of our doors.
 
 

I go to Ryan High School and I have been on their swim team for two years now. I love to swim backstroke and breaststroke. My favorite color is blue. I have two younger sisters and we all love to go swimming during the summer. My favorite animal is a horse.
 
 
 

I am a student studying law at the University of North Texas. I was on the national swim and dive team at Athens High School. My favorite meal is chicken alfredo. My favorite color is red and I enjoy working at AquaKids^®.
